Fair Usage Policy

This Fair Usage Policy ("Policy") applies to all users of Humanio, including free and paid subscribers. Its purpose is to ensure stable performance, prevent abuse, and maintain fair access for everyone. By using Humanio, you agree to follow this Policy.

1. Free Plan

Free access is subject to reasonable limits on the amount of text and the number of requests you can process. These limits exist to keep the Service available for everyone and may be adjusted over time.

2. Paid Plans — General Fair Usage

Paid subscribers receive expanded access within reasonable and non-abusive usage patterns. We monitor usage patterns to protect system stability. Excessive or automated usage may trigger temporary or permanent restrictions.

3. Examples of Normal Usage

• Rewriting and refining your own documents
• Editing text for clarity and tone
• Regular, day-to-day personal use

These activities are fully allowed and expected.

4. What Counts as Excessive or Abusive Usage

The following activities are considered beyond fair usage, especially when performed repeatedly:

• Very high request volumes or large, continuous bursts of requests
• Running automated scripts or bots, or using Humanio as a backend API without permission
• Processing unusually large volumes of text resembling industrial or commercial use
• Attempts to overload, stress, or benchmark the system
• Attempts to bypass rate limits, restrictions, or security measures
• Using the Service to build, power, or resell competing tools or services
• Creating multiple accounts to bypass limits or abuse free-tier usage
• Data scraping, reverse engineering, or extraction of system behavior
• Any usage that negatively impacts performance for other users

Humanio retains discretion to determine whether usage is abusive.

5. Actions When Abuse Is Detected

If abusive or suspicious activity is detected, we may apply a temporary suspension followed by manual review. If the review confirms a violation, we may:

• Permanently block the account
• Prohibit the creation of new accounts

No refunds are issued in connection with account suspension or termination due to abusive usage or policy violations. Severe or repeated violations may lead to permanent bans without prior notice.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update or adjust this Policy at any time. If significant changes are made, we will update the Effective Date.
